Connect or reconnect

Re-establishing Elie’s read-only access to a QuickBooks Online company file.

Elie is a private internal application. Only authorized personnel of Elite Management, Inc. and its affiliated operating entities can connect a company file. If you reached this page and are not one of them, there is nothing here for you.

When you need this

Each QuickBooks Online company file is authorized separately, and an authorization can lapse or be revoked. Reconnection is needed when:

a company file was disconnected, deliberately or otherwise;
an authorization expired after a long period without use;
the QuickBooks user who originally granted access no longer has rights to the file;
a scheduled retrieval reported an authorization failure for a specific entity.

Reconnecting restores read-only retrieval for that company file. It does not change anything inside QuickBooks Online and does not affect any other connected file.

What you will need

Access: A QuickBooks Online sign-in with rights to the specific company file being connected. When one sign-in has access to several companies, Intuit will ask which one — choose carefully, as this determines which books Elie reads.
Authorization: Approval from Elite Management, Inc. to connect that entity.

Start authorization

Authorization is currently carried out by the operations team rather than self-service. Email support@askelie.ai with the entity name and the reason for reconnecting, and the connection will be re-established.

What Elie will be able to do

Once connected, Elie retrieves accounting reports — general ledger, profit and loss on accrual and cash basis, balance sheet, and trial balance — on a scheduled basis. Access is read-only: Elie creates, modifies, and deletes nothing in QuickBooks Online. See the Privacy Policy for how retrieved data is handled, and Disconnecting for how to end a connection.
